Picking up a cheaper laptop, you know one without the bells and whistles. Well it’s bad for Vista but great for Linux. One of these bad boys will run Linux no problem. If it is under $1000 don’t expect it to run Vista well or even at all. ASUS has several laptops which are ideal for Linux as does Dell or HP.
