According to research in Japan it consumes 70 watts of power less then less say the 60 GB. So you get to save money. Actually its 70 watts less then all the other models. Maybe we will see a huge resizing effort and the ps3 will shrink in size.

So this is amazing news, this means ps3 will be to play DivX movies. There is so much here you could do with DivX, televisions, pcs, and cell phones. This will increase the ps3 as the hub all things entertainment. Divx will be available for download via system update.
