And now for something completely different
Well that’s a catchy title. Time to tell the world about a piece of video game history or history in the making. *drumroll…Nintendo Clones, or NES clones. Clones of the orginal Nintendo usually marketed in foreign countries or mall kiosks to children who had no idea what the orignal NES was. Some of these plastic monstrosities look good and play grea…well most of them are terrible to play on, due to their stupid manufacturers, and compatibility issues. No sound and bad picture in Zelda Oh No!! There are handheld clones (found typically on ebay), controller clones (mall kiosks), home computer clones, and the console clones.
Some look like the xbox, others like the Playstation 1. Wikipedia has an extensive article on them. Clones One of them called Generation Nex has a host of great features: wireless controllers, dual cartridge slots, and stereo sound. More information and a cheap price can be found at Generation. Hope some of you find this interesting.
