78,000 Wii’s Sold Every day, More than thrice vs Ps3

Just keeping everyone updated with the current console war. I must say I am surprised to see Wii doing that well. I mean the GameCube was almost cheap and that went no where. Go Nintendo!
I must say, if I had to choose I would most definently go with a Xbox 360. I mean Gears of War look insane. I can wait on everything.
It’s selling around 78,000 units a day, considerably more than the PlayStation 3’s 22,000 units a day and the Xbox 360’s 20,000 units a day.
Dead-on-the-money numbers are still flying higher than the R’s Stannah stairlift can go, but numbers here are aggregates compiled from retailers in North America, Japan, Europe and that place Australia is, and are as accurate as you’re gonna get.
Why do you think the Wii is having a different fate compared to the Gamecube?
