Ninja Looting in WoW!, what is being done to fix this?
Heya guys, Before I start: I know that Ninja Looting is nothing new but I mean, the expansion is coming out and I have seen nothing to try and help this problem.
I like basically everyone else plays World of Warcraft. I like WoW and know others whom really love WoW and when I say love I mean, not sleeping, not doing work not coming on MSN ( they only talk over the WoW Channels). They love WoW so much that they invest countless upon countless into playing this very demanding game.
How many hours? For a average person to get to level 60 for the first time, it takes around 15-40+ Days of playing time. Yes, I know persons have reached level 60 in understand 10 or so days but I am not talking about those persons. So after reaching level 60 ( where some beleves that you have just started) Two of the main things to do is either 1.) PVE or 2.) PVP .When WoW just realeased all of the hype was on PVP because it was a “fairly” new idea in MMO’s. Then after Battlegrounds came out, World PVP started to fall back and to some gamers the appeal of PVE took forth. Bear in mind, some persons bought WoW just for the PVE features. Thus, the PVE servers.
This now brings us to the act of Ninja Looting, According to the infamous WoWwiki, a Ninja Looter or simply ninja, is a player who takes loot to which he or she is not entitled. Hmm, sounds like a thief to me.
The specfics :
* a player who, when in a group, rolls on everything regardless of if he or she can use it, also known as a greeder,
* a player who takes everything not nailed down in an instance without asking: chests, ores, skins, herbs, etc.,
* a player who rolls on an item that the party/raid leader said everyone should pass on, so they can get the loot,
* a player who loots a chest or harvests a resource while another player is fighting the mobs which were defending it, possibly using stealth or a dash ability to aid in this, and
* a party or raid leader who changes the looting system to “Master Loot” near the end of a boss kill and steals the loot off of a corpse without letting other players roll for the items.
The last defination is definity the most horrid of Ninja Looters, these Raids last literally 3-6 hours, including many wipes ( Everyone in party dieing) And after the final boss is killed and everyone is happy, then what happens something comes and STEALS everything. Yeps, everything not only the things that they can use EVERYTHING.
“Come on, its only a game no-one takes this thing seriously right” I know its a game and such but in my opinion its a Hack that should be fixed.
